Landy Cognac Sidecar
1 1/2 oz Landy Cognac VSOP
3/4 oz orange liqueur
3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
Shake all ingredients together. Serve in a tumber.
Landy Cognac Stinger
1 1/2 oz Landy Cognac VSOP
3/4 oz white creme de menthe
Stir over ice cubes in an old-fashioned glass, and serve.
Landy Cognac Alexander
1 1/2 oz Landy Cognac VSOP
1 oz dark creme de cacao
1oz half & half
1/4 tsp grated nutmeg
In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine the brandy, creme de cacao, and half-and-half. Shake well. Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with the nutmeg.
Landy Cognac Julep
2 1/2 oz Landy Cognac VSOP
1 tsp powdered sugar
5 mint leaves
Place sugar, mint leaves, and brandy in a collins glass and fill with finely shaved ice.
Stir until mint rises to top, being careful not to bruise leaves. Garnish with a slice of pineapple, orange, or lemon and a cherry.
At first, Landy XO nose is light with elegant notes of acacia honey and dried flowers. After a few minutes, it exudes more complex aromas of sandalwood, prune, licorice and candied fruits. The final nose is deep with complex, versatile and spicy aromatics. Try it neat or on the rocks.
